What is Powerboat racing?
Powerboat Racing is the fastest growing marine motorsport series in the world. Here at Asia Powerboat Championship, we have a long term commitment to growing and developing the sport of powerboating at all levels worldwide.
APA Championships will be providing Tohatsu powered John Guille designed single-seater production T750 Shakespeare hulls for the events. These boats are small, fast and have a top speed of around 85kph, which feels twice as fast on water!
The race course is close to land, tight and fast, making it highly competitive for the racer and a great spectacle for the crowd. Each race tends to last around 15 minutes.The event champion and runners up will receive a trophy, a medal and a prize.
