Mette Brandt Bjerknæs
Born into a powerboat racing family, Mette started her racing career in 2009 in the Formula 4 class. Within the next year she moved up to Formula 2 and in 2011 she competed in the Formula 2 World Championship for the first time.
This year she is starting her 9th season in the F2 World series. For four years Mette also competed in the Endurance World Championship and in 2014 became the first female UIM Endurance World Champion in Circuit Class 2.
